Cheesesteak Review #2: Lou’s Sandwich Shop of Norristown
3.5 out 5 Stars
This time around I tried the standard Cheesesteak (Size Medium with provolone and fried onions) from Lou’s Sandwich Shop.
Bread–Fresh, but was kind of soggy by the time I finished it.
Cheese–The best part of the cheesesteak. There was plenty of provolone cheese melted through the steak.
Meat–In the beginning it was good. By the end of it got kind of tough as it got colder. Still the meat had a good taste throughout.
Amount–For a medium it was pretty filling . The bread itself wasn’t a problem as it got a little soggy, so I was actually full from the meat and cheese and that is what I look for in a good cheesesteak.
Overall it was pretty good. I will definitely try it again some day. The only complain was with the onions. They were still raw. I like fried onions to be a little cooked, however that was not the case.
